A Peek Into The Storyline
Dr. Eldon Chance is portrayed as a renowned neuropsychiatrist of San Francisco. Further, the story tells about his life that is carrying a load of secrets and the fact that he was undergoing the oppression of divorce from his wife. Additionally, he had been struggling with his work life as well. With Jacklyn Blackstone’s entry, his life is turned upside down.
Jacklyn was suffering from severe mental stress from her husband who used to abuse her. Dr. Chance struggles between his divorce and helping Jacklyn. Then Darius and Detective Hynes help him sort them all.
The second season portrays Dr. Chance as a changed man. All his patients appear to be victims of brutal offenses. Darius helps him in saving his patients from their victimizers.
We may expect to see some more new patients suffering from psychological issues in the third season if ever made.
The Cast
Hugh Laurie played the lead role of Dr. Eldon Chance and the female lead role of Jacklyn was performed by Gretchen Mol. Ethan Suplee acted well for his part as a companion to Dr. Chance, Darius D Pringle. Brian Goodman portrayed his versatile acting skill while playing the character of Detective Kevin Hynes, who appeared as a problem solver in season 1 and a blackmailer in season 2. Nicole, a teenage daughter of Dr. Chance was played beautifully by Stefania LaVie Owen.
Other supporting roles were acted out by a team of actors consisting of Greta Lee, Clarke Peters, Paul Schneider, Diane Farr, Michael McGrady, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Alyson Reed, Ginger Gonzaga, and Tim Griffin.
All the actors have done a great job with both the previous seasons.
When Can We Expect The Release
While all episodes so far are running successfully, the second season was called off midway from Hulu. As the platform was being overloaded with other shows, their packed schedule led to the cancellation of Chosen. The release of an extension is quite questionable with a very low possibility of its broadcast.

The show is full of twists in the tale which leave the viewers in surprise. If not watched with absolute concentration, one may lose track of the events. The storyline is very engaging and can keep its viewers hooked to the screen.
